Kevin R. Roggen - President

Mr. Roggen has been married to Debra Roggen for 40 years.  He has 35 years of experience in the construction industry.  He started in the early 1970's with Mid-State Paving, then moved to Florida Professional Contractors before opening Southern Road Builders of Polk County, inc.  In December 2007, Mr. Roggen sold Southern Road Builders and started Roggen Enterprises of Polk County, Inc., which continues to be a family owned business.

Mr. Roggen has 16 years of experience in the construction industry.  He manages day to day opeations which include :
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Job Costing, Human Resources, General Liability and Workmans Compensation Insurances

Equipment Operators/Crew Chiefs

Mr. Parker has 36 years of construction experience.  He started operating equipment at age 18. His duties include meeting with job site superintendents and delegating tasks among our crews.

Mr. Bandlow has over 34 years of experience in the construction industry.  From 1973 to 1987 he worked for General Contractors who primarily focused on defense related projects on just about every major military installation in the Eastern United States.  Mr. Bandlow has worked on a very diverse group of projects such as Jetty's at the Port of Miami, flood control structures on the Kissimmee River, Radar facilities, underground steam and high temperature water service piping, heat recovery incinerators, runway and taxiway construction, jet engine test cells and building construction.  Over the years Mr. Bandlow has held several positions including Field Superintendent, Quality Control Representative, Project Manager, and Estimator

Mr. Smith began training to be a truck mechanic in the Army at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina in 1978.  He then worked as a truck mechanic on military equipment for two years in Germany and spent another two years with the 52nd Engineer Battalion in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  After completing his four years of service with the Army, he returned to Lakeland and worked for 12 years at Florida Professional Contractors, first as a mechanic and then as the shop foreman for five years.  While at Florida Professional Contractors, he took night courses in fuel injection and computer diagnostics.  In 1995, he was hired by Southern Road Builders, first as a maintenance mechanic and then became the shop foreman.
